The Department has made a number of exciting new changes to keep our program on the cutting-edge of teaching and research. After a three-year process, we are proud and pleased to finally be able to offer stand-alone Masters and Doctoral degrees. We continue to provide UB students with courses and access to knowledge not available in other departments. We remain at the forefront of a number of new directions in the field of Women's Studies, including the attention to women's experiences in the process of globalization, women's growing political power and leadership, and our increased focus on gender outside of the United States.
